| "Enoch's Dreams - Five Sketches" is a 21-minute collection of five experimental videos that draw on documentary footage. Footage includes interviews about poisoned nuclear workers; oppression and murder of indigenous people in Chiapas, Mexico; caged chickens to be slaughtered; journeys to Cuba, and a short riff on recalculation. It's a direction I've been trying to find my way in, now into my fifth year of filming as an independent, mostly working solo. I call most of my work sketches, to uphold and emphasize a sense of incompleteness - Wes Rehberg, Wild Clearing © 2009 |
